56K Digital Dial-Up and ISDN/multi-modem access
56K dial-up (no busy signals,
service from thousands of local numbers in the U.S. and Canada - please verify that you have non-toll service to any local number you dial). Almost all of the phone numbers in both of our networks are ISDN/multi-modem capable, allowing you to double your speed in areas where DSL and broadband are not available.
Our dial-up service includes:
Up to 5 "family" e-mail accounts
2mb personal web space
Two independent networks from which to choose, offering local service in many cities in the U.S. and Canada (and even in Hong Kong and Tokyo).
Access to "Webmail" (collect

- Limited Service (150 hours, Network A):

- Unlimited Service (Network B): $17.95/month;
- 800# toll free access: $3.50 per hour;
- MegaSPEED: $5.00 per month ( up to 5x normal speed for web pages and most pictures);
- ISDN & Multi-modem access: $25 for either Network A or B (metered, ask for details);
- Senior 65+ discount: 10%;
- Bills/receipts send via E-Mail and paid by credit card. There is a $2.00 service fee for Postal Mail billing/receipt and a $20.00 deposit if account is paid by check/money order.
Travel/Backup Dial-Up
56K dial-up when you travel (throughout the U.S. and Canada) or when your local ISP experiences a prolonged service interruption.
We offer two networks with different albeit overlapping service areas. Both services are offered for a $25 annual fee plus a "per day" usage fee (monthly minimum applies). Both networks have a substantial number of local phone numbers throughout the U.S. and Canada, but it's up to you to make sure you're using one that doesn't have Telco toll charges. Monthly charges apply only if you use the service anytime during the (calendar) month.
- Network A: U.S. and Canada, plus Hong Kong and Tokyo. $1.75 per day, $5.25 minimum;
- Network B: U.S. $2.50 per day, $7.50 minimum;
- Toll free access: $3.50 per hour in addition to daily billings and monthly minimum.
Network A is provided by Ikano, and Network B is provided by Megapop. Both are first class, national companies with a broad base of wholesale customers.
