Donation Entry


  Donations are kept in a database file - you can add, change or delete your entries anytime during the "acquisition" phase of your auction. You can also "clone" a donation to simplify data entry.

Donation Screen

Donations are controlled by entering the following data:

  • Donor Name and contact information
  • Item Description, value and category
  • Pickup or volunteer assignment information
For each donation (depending on the item itself), you can print one or all of the following:
  • Request Letter (for next year)
  • Acknowledgement or Thank-You letter
  • Pickup Receipt
  • Gift Certificate
Most auctions are not controlled to this extent, however, and you can print only those letters/receipts that you need.

If you had to enter incomplete information (e.g. you don't have the donor's mailing address), the program allows you to enter the donation, but flags it as "incomplete". You can review "incomplete" donations later so that you can complete them.
