Easy Auction(tm) is an easy-to-use DOS based software program that automates your charity or benefit auction from start to finish. The program is menu-driven
and intuitive, and runs under any version of MS DOS (3.1 and up). The program handles everything from donations to catalog to post-sale reports. Printed materials (receipts, gift certificates, silent auction bid sheets, etc.) are 100% customizable.
While you're planning your auction, be sure to review our new TIPS page - (eventually) tops from charity auctions around the country to make your auction even more successful. Donations: track donations and donorsThis section of the program allows you to enter and track donations. If you use volunteers, you can even assign pickups to them. Items with incomplete information are flagged for later revision. You can assign categories and retail values to help you analyze the auction results.Features:
Auction Catalog: quick and simple auction catalog prepartionThe second part of the program allows you to create your auction catalog(s) from donated items. In general, you select the auction category you want to process, then you select which donations are to be part of that category. If you want to create a "package", you simple select an existing item (the "Package Anchor") and add unassigned donations to the package. After you have created the catalog, you can create titles and descriptions that will be used for the printed catalog.Features:
At the Auction: buy, sell and check-outThe program provides efficient and quick processing at auction itself. Bidder names and numbers are entered first - you can even print a list for the auctioneer so he can reference their names during the auction! During the auction, sales are easily recorded. Items can be sold, split between two or more buyers, and new items can even be added on the fly! Check-out is quick and easy, too. Simply pull up the bidder's purchases and print a receipt. Items are automatically recorded in the bidder's ledger during the sale.Features:
After the Auction: reporting
Technically speaking: computer requirementsEasy Auction(tm) requires 1.5mb of disk space and 570K of conventional memory. The program is network ready, and can be implemented on either a desktop or laptop computer running DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups, or Windows 95/98. The printer utility supports dot matrix, inkjet, or laser printer output, provided control codes are character-based. The program does not print color documents or graphs.
