OIP Forum/Message Board FAQ

Here is a brief explanation of some of the questions you may have about our Forum/Message Board

What is the Universal Hardwoods Message Board?
Oregon Internet Properties has provided this Forum for use by Universal Hardwoods. Schedule use of the Virtual Office and interact with each other - that's what this is for.

What does "FAQ" mean?
"FAQ" means "Frequently Asked Questions". Many World Wide Web applications have a FAQ page. Look there first for answers to questions that you may have about the application or its use.

I put html tags anywhere in my posts?
No. You can not use HTML tags in any field except body of the message. However, use caution if you are not familiar with HTML. If you garble your message, it will stay that way until the message is removed!

Why are there colons in the message when I try to post a followup?
Colons appear in the message dialog box when you try to followup up on a message to indicate that those lines are quoting the previous document. You may edit the quoted area if you like, although the followup message appears linked to the message, so quoting may not be necessary unless you are making a specific point.

Why didn't my post show up?
Your post most likely did not show up, because your browser did not reload the page, it simply pulled it out of cache. Press "reload" on your browser and it should then appear.

Where can I get the scripts for this program?
The scripts are written in Perl and created by Matt Wright. They are free to anyone who wishes to use them and you can get them as well as other scripts at: http://worldwidemart.com/scripts/. Use caution, however, since these scripts may not work on every server!
